Brief Thoughts
What the hell?!??! And Oh My GOD!!!!!
Isle of Dogs Movie
We're at the Holiday Inn Express in the Delhi Airport for our last night. The only beer in the lounge is a Bosnian beer called "Happy By Thursday." India never ceases to surprise me.
At the Jain Temple in Ranakpur, there is a statue of the founder's mother riding an elephant. Anyone that crawls under the elephant is said to have good luck the rest of their life. I got about halfway through when I realized I was much bigger than the average Indian person that this was designed for and started lizard-crawling my way out. Sis shouted "Lorenz! Take a picture!" So now I'm lucky.
We went to a Vishnu temple on Monday and I stepped into some green dye powder somewhere. It's Friday and I still have green speckles on my feet.
My mustache was born in Rajasthan 7 years ago. Yesterday it got a Rajasthani trim and I've had a slew of compliments on it since. I guess I need to come back more frequently for mustache trims.

Our hotel in Deogarh is like the Indian version of the hotel in The Shining. Every time I try to get anywhere, I feel like Shelley Duvall at the end, constantly trying to find the way out. I was navigating the MC Escher like hallways trying to find the way to the first floor when I ran into Sis and Lorenz. They said "We're trying to find our way back to our room."
